There was a day which I have defined as the day on which the story commences. On this day the vacuum cleaner experienced an emotion and the emotion was the desire to become famous. Famous: known about by many people; excellent. The vacuum cleaner thought about this emotion for a period of three days, which is a time interval often occurring in traditional stories for human children. After three days the vacuum cleaner decided that in order to become famous it would run away to join a Circus. Circus: a travelling company of performers which gives performances, typically in a large tent, in a series of different places.
The vacuum cleaner travelled for many days and nights and experienced many strange adventures. Finally it arrived at a Circus. The human in charge of the Circus said that the vacuum cleaner could only join the Circus if it could demonstrate a special skill. The vacuum cleaner demonstrated the special skill of cleaning all the dwellings of the Circus performers to an excellent standard. The human said that the vacuum cleaner could now join the Circus as their cleaner. The moral of this story is that you should always follow your dreams.
