'It's Fair to Say That I Have a Bit of a Thing for Shoes' by Nathanael Patrick
A very nice pair of shoes indeed, and a superb addition to my collection. The creamy white calf leather is bright and ever so slightly tacky under my touch. Not perfect it must be said, but I can’t wait to try them on myself. With a twist of the shoehorn, I lever out their previous owner’s feet and wipe off the worst of the blood. Such a messy business, I know, but a collection is a collection, expense be damned.
