Yes, it's that time again. It's National Flash-Fiction Day and in just one minute the Flood will begin: 144 stories to fill your day.
FlashFlood is now an amazing resource for flash-fiction, and with this issue we will have published over 1200 stories, and have so far had over 350,000 page views.
This year, we received about 1000 submissions, read by the wonderful team of editors in just one week, to bring you what we think is the best Flood yet. The standard is higher than ever, and the variety of stories and styles means there will be something for everyone.

But, for now, let's open the sluice gates and let the waters flow.
